When a Master Mechanic and a Metalsmith join forces magic happens. We are Caleb and Rachel married and metal-obsessed. We both love cars and working with fire! One day when Caleb was working on a car we joked tires are car jewelry then Rachel ran into the studio to get mold material and took a silicone mold of the tire and poof ...Old Town Tread was born.
Taking the mold into the studio, we poured wax into the mold and cast them in bronze. Each piece is slightly different due to the handmade process. The tire castings then get made into belt buckles, bolo ties and rings.
Car inspired 4" inch catch all dish with laser engraved car theme pattern. Dish is vintage enamel (glass enamel) that we lasered for your enjoyment! Would not reccomend for food purposes but most everything else! One of a kind!
